Doha: Two Palestinian children were martyred on Thursday by Israeli occupation forces near the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron in the West Bank.

According to Qatar News Agency, local sources reported that the occupation forces opened fire on the two children, killing them near the settlement of Karmei Tzur, built on Palestinian land. The forces then seized their bodies and declared the area a closed military zone.

Over the past two years, Israeli aggression and settler attacks against the Palestinian people in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem have escalated, particularly following the war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2013.
