Two Injured in Israeli Shelling in Southern Lebanon

Two people were injured Monday in Israeli shelling in southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported in a statement that two paramedics from the Lebanese Civil Defense were injured when the Israeli occupation army targeted a civil defense team with a mortar shell while the team was performing its duty to inspect the effects of an Israeli raid on the town of Tayr Harfa.

Earlier Monday, one person was killed and two others were injured in an Israeli raid on the town of Houla, southern Lebanon.

The Israeli army continues its daily air and artillery bombardment of towns and villages in southern Lebanon, coinciding with its aggression on the Gaza Strip that has been ongoing since last October.
