Ankara: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan discussed the latest developments in Syria with his Syrian counterpart Asaad Al Shaibani and US Special Envoy to Syria Thomas Barrack in two phone calls on Sunday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the calls between Fidan, Shaibani, and Barrack addressed the meetings held in Amman, Jordan, regarding the situation in southern Syria.

Earlier yesterday, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi met with his Syrian counterpart Asaad Al Shaibani and US Ambassador to Turkiye and Special Envoy for Syria Thomas Barrack to discuss the situation in Syria and efforts to consolidate the ceasefire that was achieved Sunday around the Syrian province of Sweida.
