Turkiye’s Exports to Neighbouring Countries Surpass USD 28 Billion in 2025

Turkiye: Turkiye's revenues from exports to neighbouring countries reached USD 28,352,370,000 in 2025, marking an increase of 4.6 percent compared to USD 27,092,772,000 in 2024.

According to Qatar News Agency, data from the Turkish Ministry of Trade indicated that Iraq topped the list of neighbouring countries importing from Turkiye, with USD 10.3 billion, followed by Bulgaria with USD 4.7 billion, Greece with USD 3.5 billion, and Syria with USD 2.6 billion.

In 2025, exports to Syria recorded the highest annual growth rate at approximately 70 percent, followed by Bulgaria at 6.8 percent and Greece at 4.5 percent.

By sector, chemical products and related goods ranked first among Turkiye's top exports to neighbouring countries in 2025.

In essence, Turkiye's total merchandise exports increased by 4.5 percent in 2025 compared to the previous year, reaching USD 273.4 billion.
