Ankara: Turkish Minister of Defense Yasar Guler held talks Wednesday in the Turkish capital, Ankara, with his Syrian counterpart Murhaf Abu Qasra, Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al Shaibani, and Head of Syrian Intelligence Hussein Al Salama, discussing a number of bilateral and regional issues in the fields of defense and security.

According to Qatar News Agency, at the conclusion of the meeting, the Turkish and Syrian defense ministers signed a memorandum of understanding for joint training and consultations.
