Istanbul: Turkish security forces arrested Monday 59 ISIS suspects in security operations in Istanbul. Turkish security sources said in a statement that the Istanbul public prosecution issued an arrest warrant against 63 suspects, 59 of whom were arrested, and the search is ongoing to arrest the rest.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Turkish authorities, who raided the suspects' locations, found weapons, ammunition, foreign currencies, and ISIS-related documents. Investigations with the suspects continue at the Istanbul Security Directorate.

For years, Turkish police and military forces have been pursuing members of armed organizations, including ISIS and Al-Qaeda, inside the country and on the borders with neighboring countries.
