Istanbul: HE President of the Republic of Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, met with HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, on the sidelines of the 51st Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Istanbul, Turkiye. The meeting highlighted the commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and addressing key regional issues.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to President Erdogan, extending wishes of good health and continued prosperity for the Turkish people. President Erdogan reciprocated these sentiments, sending his greetings to HH the Amir and expressing hopes for further development for the Qatari people.
The discussion focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and addressing pressing regional developments. Topics included the situation in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories, the ongoing Israeli aggression on Iranian territories, and other issues of mutual concern. The dialogue underscored the importance of collaboration and dialogue in addressing regional challenges.
