Turkish President Discusses Bilateral Relations, Gaza Developments with Malaysian PM

Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed Thursday, in a phone call with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, bilateral relations and regional and international developments.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Turkish presidency stated that Erdogan affirmed during the call that the comprehensive strategic partnership between Turkiye and Malaysia is progressing in all fields. He highlighted that Ankara is working to enhance cooperation in various areas, with a particular focus on defense industries.

Both leaders also emphasized the need to increase international pressure on the Israeli occupation government amid the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
