Doha: Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya discussed, during a phone call Friday, with his Italian counterpart Matteo Piantedosi, means to enhance security cooperation between the two countries.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two ministers also discussed issues related to combating illegal immigration, cross-border crimes, and combating terrorism. The conversation highlights the ongoing efforts of Turkey and Italy to address shared security challenges and improve collaborative measures to ensure safety and stability in both nations.
