Doha: Turkish Defense Ministry announced Friday that 29 militants from the PKK organization have been neutralized in northern Syria.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement on the X platform, the Turkish Defense Ministry confirmed that its forces neutralized 29 PKK militants who were preparing to launch attacks in northern Syria.

The Turkish military has been conducting ongoing operations against PKK elements in northern Iraq and Syria in response to their targeting of military, security personnel, and civilians within Turkiye.
