Tunis: Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohamed Ali Nafti met Wednesday with his Omani counterpart Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, who is currently visiting Tunisia, to discuss bilateral relations and ways to enhance them.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, the two sides addressed a number of regional and international issues of common concern. They affirmed the importance of continuing coordination and consultation in regional and international forums, and promoting peaceful efforts to address current challenges and consolidate the foundations of security and stability in the region.
The discussions also focused on ways to develop cooperation in political, economic, and cultural fields, as well as the exchange of expertise and knowledge in various scientific and professional areas. The ministers emphasized supporting and facilitating the development of investment opportunities, stressing the importance of advancing bilateral cooperation towards broader horizons.
The meeting highlighted available opportunities in sectors such as trade, transport, tourism, renewable energy, industry, and technology, as well as food security and pharmaceutical industries. Earlier today, Tunisian President Kais Saied met with the Omani Foreign Minister to discuss ways to strengthen relations between the two countries in all fields.
