Doha: US President Donald Trump on Monday warned the Israeli occupation against actions that could destabilize Syria and its new leadership. In a post on the Truth Social platform, Trump said it is "very important" for Israel to maintain a strong and genuine dialogue with Syria and to avoid anything that could interfere with the country's development into a prosperous state.

According to Qatar News Agency, Trump expressed his "great satisfaction" with the performance of Syrian President Ahmed Al Sharaa, who made a historic visit to the White House in November. He added that the United States is doing everything it can to support the Syrian government's efforts to rebuild the country after years of war.
