Doha: Local sources in occupied Jerusalem reported that 174 settlers intruded into Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Sunday in cascading formations under heightened protection from the Israeli occupation forces.

According to Qatar News Agency, they engaged in performing provocative tours and Talmudic rites on the compound while escorted by the occupation police, the sources added. Since October 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have ramped up security measures at the gates of Al-Aqsa and the entrances to the Old City, carrying out inhumane acts as part of enforcing the plans for spatial and temporal partitioning of Al-Aqsa.
