Gaza City: Three Palestinians were martyred and others were injured early on Saturday as a result of an Israeli airstrike on a house in eastern Gaza City and bombing of a tent sheltering displaced persons in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, an Israeli drone targeted a house in Al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, killing two Palestinians.

The agency added that another Palestinian was martyred and several others were injured when the Israeli forces bombed a tent sheltering displaced persons in Mawasi area of Khan Younis.

Simultaneously, Israeli artillery continued to shell Qizan Rashwan area south of Khan Younis.

The death toll in Gaza Strip since the start of the Israeli assault on Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 50,912, with the number of injuries reaching 115,981.
