Al habit: Three children were killed, and two others injured Friday when a landmine, a remnant of war, exploded inside an unusable school in the town of Al Habit in the southern Idlib countryside of northwestern Syria. The incident highlights the ongoing risks posed by remnants of war in the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Idlib Emergency and Disaster Management Directorate reported that its Civil Defense teams responded to a report of the explosion. The teams rescued the injured and transported them to nearby hospitals.
