Ramallah – Ma’an – Minister of National Economy, Muhammad Al-Amour, today assumed the duties of Minister of National Economy in the nineteenth new Palestinian government headed by Muhammad Mustafa.
This came during the ceremony of handing over the ministry’s duties by the former Minister of Economy, Khaled Asseily, in the presence of Undersecretary Manal Farhan, the general directors, and representatives of the Palestinian standards and standards institutions, and the Investment Promotion Authority and industrial cities.
Minister Al-Amour expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the Ministry during the last period under the leadership of Minister Al-Osaili, stressing the need to move forward in building on the achievements that have been achieved.
The Minister stressed that all possible efforts should be made to strengthen the steadfastness of citizens, especially in light of the repercussions of the ongoing Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, in various fields, and to work to consolidate t
he principles of governance and transparency, in a way that improves the development of the Palestinian economy and the performance of services provided in all sectors.
In turn, Minister Al-Asili wished the Palestinian government success in its duties, expressing his confidence in advancing the national economy in light of the great challenges facing the people of our people in various fields.
