Doha: Texas Pearl, owned by HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, clinched victory in the Prix des Sables, a conditional race run over 1,600 meters, held at France's Pompadour Racecourse.

According to Qatar News Agency, the filly, trained by Alban de Mieulle and ridden by Olivier D' Andigne, delivered an impressive performance. She traveled comfortably throughout the race before quickening smartly in the home straight, pulling ahead with authority to win by a clear margin of three lengths.

Alaya, trained by Eric Dell'ova and partnered with jockey Mlle A Mekouche, secured second place, while Nofat Al Zaman, trained by Damien de Watrigant and ridden by Mae Le Callonec, finished third.
