Damascus: Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa met Sunday with US Special Envoy for Syria, Thomas Barak, who is visiting Damascus to discuss ways to strengthen economic cooperation between Syria and the United States, as well as the latest regional developments. Al-Sharaa emphasized Syria's unity and sovereignty over all its territory, the importance of dialogue at this stage, and the need to rebuild Syria with the participation of all Syrians, in addition to continuing to coordinate efforts in combating terrorism.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions between President Al-Sharaa and Envoy Barak focused on potential economic partnerships that could benefit both nations.
