Syrian President, Lebanese Premier Discuss Bilateral Ties, Regional Updates

Damascus: President of Syria Ahmad Al Sharaa met on Saturday with Prime Minister of Lebanon Nawaf Salam. The leaders engaged in discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and developing economic and trade cooperation. They also focused on enhancing security coordination to support stability and address challenges faced by the two nations.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Sharaa and Salam exchanged views on regional and international developments and issues of mutual concern. The meeting highlighted the importance of collaboration between Syria and Lebanon in navigating the complex geopolitical landscape of the region. Both leaders emphasized the need for continued dialogue and cooperation to ensure mutual benefits and regional stability.
