Damascus: Syrian President Ahmad Al Sharaa met Thursday the Head of the Iraqi National Intelligence Service Hamid Al Shatri and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting Damascus. Discussions during the meeting dealt with means to enhance economic cooperation, particularly activating trade exchange and opening land ports between the two countries.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two sides also reviewed regional developments and the security situation, emphasizing the unity, sovereignty, and stability of Syrian territories.
