Damascus: Syria expressed its deep gratitude and appreciation to the State of Qatar for its initiative to send a humanitarian aid convoy to its territories, in cooperation with Jordan.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates stated that the humanitarian aid convoy, sent by Qatar in cooperation with Jordan, included dozens of trucks loaded with food and medicine that entered through the Nassib border crossing.

The aid is intended for distribution to those affected by recent events in the city of Suweida and to the displaced individuals in shelters in the Daraa Governorate. The Ministry emphasized that the initiative embodies the spirit of solidarity and mutual support among Arab nations and contributes to alleviating the suffering of the Syrians.

It is noteworthy that a batch of Qatari aid entered Syria this morning, in collaboration with Jordan.
