Doha: HE State Secretary at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) of the Swiss Confederation Valerie Berset Bircher paid the Imam Mohammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab Mosque a visit, organized by the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs' Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the visit, the Minister and the accompanying delegation were briefed on the mosque's authentic Qatari architectural style. They learned about Islamic rituals performed there and went on a guided tour of the mosque's different sections, getting to know more about their religious and spiritual functions in a Muslim's daily life.

Her Excellency praised the mosque's design and its details, which blend Qatari authenticity with Islamic identity, deeming it one of the most prominent architectural and cultural landmarks in Doha. She noted that the mosque reflects the state's interest in modern Islamic architecture with a local character.
