Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the ongoing aggression launched by the Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip, the latest of which was the deliberate targeting of medical, relief, and media personnel at the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, in a clear violation of international humanitarian law.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its call on the international community, and the Security Council in particular, to take decisive measures to ensure the protection of civilians, halt these ongoing and serious violations, and uphold the principles of international law.
It stressed that justice for the Palestinian people can only be achieved by ending the Israeli occupation of their lands and enabling them to attain their legitimate rights, foremost among which is the establishment of an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
