Muscat: Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the Sultanate of Oman met on Thursday with Secretary of the Security Council of Russia, Sergey Kosutovich Shoigu, who is visiting Muscat, to discuss aspects of security and military cooperation between the two countries. During their meeting, the two sides also reviewed avenues for joint cooperation aimed at strengthening efforts to maintain security and stability in the region, and exchanged views on a number of issues of common interest.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations and exploring potential collaborations in various areas related to security and defense.
