Doha: The Department of Meteorology has warned of strong winds and high seas offshore on Friday.

According to Qatar News Agency, the daily weather report predicts that inshore conditions until 6:00 pm will be moderate in temperature with scattered clouds, becoming relatively cold by night. Offshore, the weather will be partly cloudy at times.

Inshore winds are expected to be northwesterly to northeasterly at 5 to 15 knots (KT), while offshore winds will be northwesterly at 5 to 15 KT, with gusts potentially reaching up to 23 KT initially.

Sea conditions inshore will vary between 1 and 3 feet, rising to 5 feet initially. Offshore seas are anticipated to range from 2 to 4 feet, surging to as high as 7 feet at times.

Visibility is expected to range between 5 and 10 kilometers, both inshore and offshore.
