Council of Representatives Speaker Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, hailing royal support to the legislative branch of government.

She commended the support of the Government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister during the fourth session of the fifth legislative term.

The Speaker hailed the contributions and role played by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and Supreme Council for Women President.

She lauded the dedicated efforts exerted byu the legislative and executive branches of government and the role of the Shura Council, chaired by Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, praising the national press and media.

The Speaker made the statement marking the royal order which was issued today by HM the King adjourning the fourth session of the fifth legislative term.

The Speaker announced that more initiatives and programmes would be launched in the coming period, in addition to local and international parliamentary participation in support of Bahrain’s wide-ranging development.
