Madrid: Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced a new pound 615 million military aid package for Ukraine to support Kyiv in its ongoing conflict with Russia, which began in February 2022.

According to Qatar News Agency, Sanchez stated during a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Madrid that Spain had informed Ukraine it would allocate a new pound 615 million military support program next month.

Zelensky had announced on Monday that his country had signed a deal with France to acquire 100 Rafale fighter jets as part of his efforts to bolster the country's long-term military capabilities.
