Slovenian President and Palestinian Foreign Minister Discuss Bilateral Relations and Regional Developments

Doha: President of Slovenia, Natasa Pirc Musar, held a meeting in Ljubljana with Palestinian Foreign Minister, Farsin Shahin, focusing on bilateral relations and recent developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. Musar reiterated Slovenia's support for the Palestinian people, highlighting her dedication to advancing efforts on both European and global fronts to uphold their rights and the peace process.

According to Qatar News Agency, Musar expressed concern over the violations occurring in Gaza and the West Bank, including Jerusalem, stating that these actions have disturbed the global conscience and must not go unaddressed. She emphasized the necessity of vocal opposition to these injustices.

Shahin described the situation in Palestine as dire, citing continuous assaults by colonizers and the Israeli occupation's strategies to fragment the West Bank. She urged for actionable and definitive measures to counteract these policies.
