Doha: Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center of the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs launched its Ramadan activities for 1446 AH starting from the first day of the holy month. The activities include an Iftar program for new converts as well as a series of lectures directed at Muslim communities, as part of its efforts to spread religious knowledge and promote Islamic values ??during the holy month.
According to Qatar News Agency, the center's three branches: in the main premises in Doha and its branches in the Workers City and Al Khor, organized a daily Iftar program for new converts, with the number of participants exceeding 300 people daily, including 250 people in the center's branch in the Workers City.
Meanwhile, the center organized two lectures for the Ethiopian and Tamil communities on the importance of the month of Ramadan and its virtues and witnessed a large attendance of men and women. It also held a lecture in the Tamil language attended by 400 people, focusing on the characteristics of the life of a Muslim in light of changes and modern life.
These events' organization comes within the framework of the center's mission to provide distinguished educational and religious services, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
