Doha: A number of Palestinians were killed and wounded on Monday in an Israeli bombing of the central Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, Palestine News and Info Agency (WAFA) reported that three young men were killed and others were wounded when an Israeli drone targeted a gathering near the Wadi Gaza Bridge in the central Gaza Strip.

The agency further stated that a drone attack on the Al-Janina neighborhood east of Rafah resulted in injuries to two citizens.

The overall death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 48,572 since the onset of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023.
