Dozens of settlers on Thursday stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Mughrabi Gate, heavily protected by the occupation police.
The settlers carried out in its courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals, while rabbis gave explanations about the “alleged temple,” Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported.
The occupation forces deployed their elements in the mosque’s courtyards and at its doors to secure intrusion by settlers, WAFA added.
On the other hand, three Palestinian youths were Thursday injured in the occupied city of Jerusalem following an assault by Israeli settlers in a public park.
WAFA quoted local sources as saying that the three youths were taken to a hospital with injuries and bruises, whereas one of them suffered from a head injury after an Israeli settler hit him with a sharp object.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces raided a number of Jerusalemite neighborhoods and towns, sparking confrontations with Palestinians.
