Saudi Stock Index Closes Lower Following Significant Trading Session

Doha: Saudi Arabia's main stock index closed lower on Thursday, shedding 62.35 points to end at 10,990.41, with a total trading value of 10.2 billion riyals.

According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 338 million shares were traded during the session. Shares of 169 companies recorded gains, while 74 companies saw their stocks decline.

Meanwhile, the parallel market index (Nomu) also closed lower, dropping 123.20 points to reach 26,809.75. The value of trades on Nomu exceeded 24 million riyals, with over one million shares traded.
