Saudi Stock Index Closes Lower After Day of Mixed Trading

Riyadh: The Saudi Stock Exchange's main index saw a slight dip on Monday, losing 1.48 points to settle at 11,051.13 points. The trading value for the day totaled SR 3.9 billion.

According to Qatar News Agency, the session witnessed trading of 185 million shares. Out of these, 98 companies experienced an increase in their share values, whereas 152 companies saw a decline.

In contrast, the Parallel Saudi Stock Index (Nomu) also experienced a downturn, closing lower by 44.15 points to reach 23,905.87 points. The trading value for Nomu stood at SR 37 million, with more than five million shares exchanged during the session.
