Saudi Stock Index Closes Higher as Main Index Rises and Parallel Index Falls

Riyadh: The main Saudi stock index ended Tuesday with an increase of 82.27 points, closing at 11,249.54 points. The trading for the day was valued at SAR 7.2 billion.

According to Qatar News Agency, the total volume of shares traded reached 366 million. Out of the companies involved in the trading, 178 recorded gains, while 78 experienced declines.

Meanwhile, the parallel Saudi stock index, Nomu, closed with a decrease of 177.98 points, settling at 22,705.28 points. The trading for Nomu was valued at SAR 36 million, with a volume of over 5.9 million shares traded.
