Riyadh: The main Saudi stock index closed higher Wednesday, registering a gain of 130.55 points to reach a closing value of 11,079.93 points. The trading activity for the day was valued at SAR 5.7 billion.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 262 million shares being exchanged. Out of the companies listed, 246 experienced an increase in their share prices, while 18 witnessed a decline.
The parallel Saudi stock index, known as “Nomu,” also recorded an upward movement. It gained 59.32 points, closing at 22,551.79 points. The trading for “Nomu” was valued at SAR 18 million, with a total volume of 2.8 million shares traded.
