Saudi Stock Exchange Index Closes Up 140.73 Points

Riyadh: The Saudi Stock Exchange's main index made a significant upward movement on Wednesday, gaining 140.73 points to close at 10,983.93 points. The trading activities on the exchange were robust, with the total value of trades reaching SR 5.3 billion.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading volume was substantial, with 564 million shares exchanged. Out of the listed companies, 207 saw an increase in their share value, while 46 companies experienced a decline by the end of the trading session.

The Saudi Parallel Stock Index, known as Nomu, also experienced gains. It rose by 38.14 points, closing at 26,778.15 points. The trades on this index were valued at SR 27 million, with more than 3 million shares traded, reflecting active participation in the market.
