Saudi Stock Exchange Index Closes Lower as Parallel Market Rises

Riyadh: The Saudi main stock index closed today's trading down by 88.86 points, finishing at 11,494.45 points, with a total trading value of SR 4.6 billion. A total of 233 million shares were traded during the session, with 42 companies witnessing an increase in their share values, while 211 companies saw their shares decline.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Saudi Parallel Market Index (Nomu) ended the day on a positive note, rising by 57.44 points to close at 25,862.86 points. The trades on the Nomu amounted to SR 40 million, with the volume of traded shares surpassing 5 million.
