Saudi Stock Exchange Index Closes Higher with Increased Trading Volume

Riyadh: The Saudi Stock Exchange's main index experienced a rise, closing 16.46 points higher at 10,981.17 points at the end of Monday's trading session, with the total value of trades reaching SAR 4.3 billion.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading volume on the stock market approached 335 million shares. Out of the companies listed, 95 saw an increase in share value, whereas 148 witnessed a decline by the close of trading.

In contrast, the Saudi Parallel Stock Exchange Index, known as Nomu, saw a decrease, closing 82.58 points lower at 27,080.02 points. The trades on Nomu amounted to SAR 20 million, with the number of traded shares exceeding two million.
