Saudi Stock Exchange Index Closes Higher

Riyadh: The Saudi Stock Exchange's main index closed Thursday up 25.78 points, settling at 11,611.68 points, with trades valued at SR 4.8 billion. The trading activity saw an exchange of 226 million shares, with 153 companies witnessing an increase in their share values, while 97 companies saw a decline.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Saudi Parallel Stock Exchange Index (Nomu) also experienced an uptick, closing up 13.65 points to reach 25,048.78 points. The trades on Nomu were valued at SR 30 million, with the number of traded shares exceeding 3 million.
