Riyadh: Official spokesperson for the Saudi Ministry of Defense, Major General Turki Al Maliki announced Sunday that a ballistic missile launched towards Prince Sultan Air Base was intercepted and destroyed.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Saudi Ministry of Defense had previously announced thwarting several drone attacks in various locations within Saudi Arabia.
