New york: Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, called on the rest of the world to follow the example of France, the United Kingdom (UK), Spain, Portugal, Canada, and Australia and take the historic step of recognizing the Palestinian state.
According to Qatar News Agency, this appeal was made during a speech by the Saudi Foreign Minister on Monday evening at the United Nations General Assembly headquarters in New York. The occasion marked the launch of the High-level International Conference for the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution.
