Doha: The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced today that a drone was intercepted and destroyed east of the Al-Jawf region.

According to Qatar News Agency, the announcement came in a statement by the official spokesperson for the Ministry, Major General Turki Al Maliki.

Earlier today, the Saudi Ministry of Defense announced intercepting a ballistic missile launched towards Prince Sultan Air Base, in addition to thwarting several drone attacks in different parts of Saudi Arabia.
