Saudi Crown Prince and French President Review Conference Outcomes on Palestine Peace Efforts

Paris: HH Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, discussed in a phone call on Saturday with French President Emmanuel Macron the outcomes of the High-level International Conference for the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, co-chaired by Saudi Arabia and France.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, coordination was held regarding the resumption of the conference at the summit level on Sept. 22, in support of efforts to end the war in Gaza, achieve peace, and establish Palestinian statehood.

The two sides noted the New York Declaration adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in connection with this conference and the overwhelming vote in its favor.

In addition, they noted the increasing number of countries that had declared their pledges to recognize Palestinian statehood, underscoring the global unanimity of the desire to move toward a future of peace, where the Palestinian people regain their legitimate rights through the establishment of their independent state.
