Riyadh:The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has issued a strong condemnation of the attack on the "Al Mayeda" liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier, which is owned by Qatar Gas Transport Company (Nakilat). The incident occurred in the waters of the Arabian Gulf. Saudi Arabia reiterated its rejection of any violations that threaten the security and safety of maritime navigation and global energy supplies.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry emphasized its solidarity with the State of Qatar, supporting any measures it might take to protect its maritime vessels and ensure the safety of its international trade routes. The statement also called for urgent measures from the international community to ensure maritime security, the safety of international trade, and the enforcement of international law in these matters.
