Doha: Spanish coach Felix Sanchez, manager of Al Sadd, expressed his ambition to defend the league title in the new season of the Qatari football league Doha Bank Stars League. According to Qatar News Agency, Sanchez reflected on last season, recalling the inability to start with a victory. He highlighted the changes within the Qatar SC team, including new coaching staff and players, and described it as a good opportunity for Al Sadd to begin the season with a strong challenge. He emphasized the importance of starting well to replicate last season's success, expressing the team's excitement and anticipation for the match. Sanchez concluded with hopes f or a solid performance and a positive result. Qatar SC coach Marquez Lopez also shared his thoughts with the media ahead of their 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 1 match against Al Sadd. He acknowledged the significance of the opening match, especially against the defending champions, and expressed confidence in his team's ability to make a strong start. Lopez discussed their preparation and readiness for the league's first match, emphasizing the goal to focus and achieve the desired result. He recognized Al Sadd's stability in contrast to his own team's recent developments and expressed hope for continued growth and success, starting with the opening match, to fulfill the aspirations of both the team and their fans.
