Samsung Tops Smartphone Market Share in Middle East


Doha: Samsung Electronics ranked first in the Middle East smartphone market share in the Q2 of 2025. Samsung Electronics recorded the highest sales share in the Middle East, accounting for 34% of the market, placing it first in the Middle East smartphone market, South Korean news agency (Yonhap) reported.

According to Qatar News Agency, in contrast, Chinese company Xiaomi ranked second with 17%, followed by Chinese company Transsion with 15%. Meanwhile, Chinese company Honor recorded a market share of 10%, and American company Apple came in last with 8%.

Samsung is making inroads in most regions of the Middle East by strategically introducing its mid-range and low-priced Galaxy A models, alongside the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S24, which are also receiving positive feedback.
