Mexico City – Spanish prime minister Pedro Sánchez’s visit to Morocco is anticipated to infuse a fresh impetus into the “prosperous” diplomatic relations between the two nations, according to remarks made by Salvadoran Vice-President Félix Ulloa.
Speaking to MAP, Ulloa underscored the significance of the visit, emphasizing that it signifies the mutual commitment of both countries to fortify their partnership for the collective development and prosperity of their peoples and the broader region.
He highlighted the positive and constructive evolution of these relations, deeming them a “model of cooperation and solidarity” aimed at fostering economic development and enhancing the well-being of the people involved.
Ulloa also praised the maturity of political relations between Morocco and Spain, citing it as a testament to good neighborliness.
The Spanish Prime Minister’s working visit, which took place on Wednesday, was marked by an audience with His Majesty King Mohammed VI, further solidifying the diplomati
c ties between the two nations.
This visit is part of the ongoing phase of enhanced bilateral relations initiated since the meeting between HM the King and the Spain’s Sánchez in April 2022. Notably, during that encounter, the two leaders adopted a Joint Declaration, setting the stage for continued cooperation and collaboration between Morocco and Spain.
