Beijing: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and his South Korean counterpart Cho Hyun underscored their countries’ readiness to work together to shore up mutual confidence in a phone call on Tuesday. Both ministers affirmed their keenness to deepen bilateral cooperation and contribute to protecting peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.

According to Qatar News Agency, China always gives high priority to its relations with South Korea, as stated by Wang Yi. For his part, Cho Hyun expressed that South Korea places significant importance on its relations with China and will spare no effort to strengthen these ties.
