Doha: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense forces shot down 26 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory. The ministry said in a statement that 12 drones were shot down over Bryansk, nine over Kursk, three over Belgorod, one over Voronezh, and one over Oryol.

According to Qatar News Agency, since the outbreak of the war in February 2022, both Russia and Ukraine have regularly reported intercepting attacks from each other. These claims, however, remain unverified by independent sources due to ongoing conflict conditions.
