Doha: The Russian Defense Ministry announced that its air defense systems destroyed 28 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory last night.

According to Qatar News Agency, the air defense systems on duty destroyed 28 Ukrainian drones, as 13 drones were shot down over the Sea of ??Azov, eight drones over the territory of Rostov Oblast, six drones over the territory of Krasnodar Oblast, and one over the territory of Astrakhan Oblast, the ministry said in a statement.

The Ukrainian armed forces almost daily target the Russian border areas in Crimea and the regions of Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, and Voronezh with drones and missiles.

Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine in February 2022, and there are no signs of it winding down, with Moscow firmly insisting that it will continue the operation until its objectives are fully achieved.
